October has always been a busy month for events, weddings, and productions. Additionally, October is an important month in Klock Entertainment’s history. October 2015 marks eleven years since Jason Klock (Founder) DJ’d his first wedding reception, four years since Jason and Klock Entertainment became a full-time DJ and Lighting service, and three years since the company hired its first full-time staff to conduct day-to-day operations and produce events. This year, on October 5th, 2015 DJC Productions’ owner Joe Cooper joined with Klock Entertainment.
Klock Entertainment is excited to announce Joe Cooper as its new Production Manager and head of Business Development. Cooper has worked on productions for Third Eye Blind, Death Cab for Cutie, and Five Times August. In addition, Joe is also a talented DJ & Emcee. Joe began DJing professionally in 2006, and by 2008 had started his own business, DJC Productions. DJC Productions produced more than 50 events per year, including weddings, corporate events, live productions, and theatrical shows.
In recent years, Jason’s vision for a full-service event company has blossomed in the Central PA region. By adding Cooper to the team, this vision becomes more of a reality. Cooper comes with a prominent and diverse skill set to help Klock Entertainment continue to grow and exceed client expectations. One of their first projects together was a lighting design for Tres Bonne Annee at The Hilton Harrisburg on Saturday, October 10th, 2015.
By blending sound, lighting and many other forms of event production, Klock Entertainment is able to provide their clients with a one-stop shop for all of their event production needs. Additionally, it gives them the opportunity to add synergy to any event. In addition to providing all entertainment services, Klock Entertainment takes an active role in the production of the event from conception to execution, always involved in the minute-to-minute details of events both large and small.
As Klock Entertainment has grown into more than just a “DJ” company, they have seen a drastic growth in their production demands and designs. As of 2015, they have five full-time staff members and thirty-five part-time staff members to assist in all events. The firm has fifteen event leaders, designers, and dozens of assistants to ensure the highest level of success at each event.
What does this mean if I’m a customer of Klock Entertainment or DJC Productions?
From a client's’ perspective, nothing will change. If you hired DJC Productions for your wedding you will still have Joe as your DJ! In addition, you now have more services and options to choose from. For Klock Entertainment, nothing will change, either. Klock has gained one more DJ, as well as additional options to help bring your vision for your dream wedding reception to reality. Instead of choosing “Up Lighting” you can now choose to have your wedding/reception space completely transformed. All business will continue to be conducted at 1310 Crooked Hill Road, Harrisburg, PA location. Joe has already moved in!
I thought you were just a DJ company. What has changed?
Klock Entertainment is now truly set up with the talent, equipment and resources to be a full-service entertainment and production company. No job is too small or too large. There is something to be said for the ability to fluidly blend the music, atmosphere, lighting, and energy of an event all together. Many production companies will set-up and leave events. The energy changes throughout the night, and the services you choose to enhance your event should evolve with the energy of the evening. Klock Entertainment will be there throughout the entirety of the event to ensure that everything goes smoothly from start to finish.
